It’s time to do some spring cleaning and turn that clutter into cash. The Township of King invites you to join us for the annual Community Indoor Yard Sale. Spaces can be purchased for $15 + HST per 6 ft. space, two 6ft spaces for $25 +HST or three 6ft spaces for $35 +HST. 6ft Table rentals are available for $10 + HST. Participants have the option to donate any unsold items to the Salvation Army and/or Diabetes Canada onsite upon the event’s completion.

Electronic Recycling

Do you have old electronics collecting dust at home? Bring your unwanted electronics to the Community Electronic Recycling to ensure they are disposed of safely, recycled and kept out of landfill. Residents will be required to unload their own items. Collection will be outside of the Trisan Centre. There is no cost for patrons disposing of their electronics during the Community Electronic Recycling Event. 

Items Accepted at Community Electronic Recycling Events

Televisions, monitors, desk tops, phones, printing, copying and scanning equipment, stereos, speakers, digital media, video game consoles, projectors, microphones, cameras, calculators, lighting, power tools, small appliances, stationary and portable audio/video systems.

Please protect your privacy by cleaning all personal data and removing batteries from e-waste items prior to dropping them off. For more information on how to wipe your device Click Here

Battery Disposal will be available. All standard single-use batteries are accepted including AA, D, 9V, button cell etc. Rechargeable batteries are not currently accepted. For safety purposes, please place leaking batteries in a sealed plastic bag, and cover the terminals of lithium batteries with tape before dropping them off in the bins.
