Social Service Worker-Gerontology (SSWG) Response Team
SSWG Response Team is a group of students and alumni from Seneca College who are willing to dedicate their time to help older adults (seniors), their caregivers, long-term care and retirement home residents during COVID-19. The response team is reaching out to these groups to determine what they need most and to act as a conduit for others who want to volunteer and/or help in any way. The team aims to provide remote support (telephone calls, online activities) and provide assistance to seniors to help them connect to other support groups.
