Thursday, June 1 - Play Basketball in the Courts

Play a game of basketball or pick up Hockey at one of the Township's outdoor courts. The courts are located on site at the Nobleton Arena (15 Old King Road, Nobleton) and the King City Arena (25 Doctors Lane, King City).  

Friday, June 2 - Drop-In Climb at Cold Creek

Visit Cold Creek (14125 11th Concession, Nobleton) to participate in a FREE Drop-In Climb from 6:00-8:00pm and test your skills on our Challenge Course and Rock Climbing Tower.  All supplies will be provided.  Please Note: closed toe shoes must be worn to climb.  All climbers must be 7 years of age or older to participate. Saturday, June 3 - Yoga in the Park

Come out to Tasca Park (49 ParkheightsTrail, Nobleton) for a free yoga class from 9:00am-10:00am (weather permitting). Improve flexibility, strength, and balance through deep breathing exercises and body positions in this hour long class. ​Monday, June 5 - Tasca Park Fitness Track

Tasca Park (49 Parkheights Trail, Nobleton) is one of King Township's premier outdoor facilities. Within this park, patrons can enjoy a paved fitness track that features four different fitness activity stations where users can test their physical fitness levels. Tuesday, June 6 - Pickleball for Seniors

Come out to King City Public School (7:00pm-9:00pm) to try Pickleball! Pickleball is an easy to learn paddle sport which can be played by anyone, regardless of age or athletic ability. This program is open to all skill levels; no registration is needed. The cost for the program is $3.50/participant. ​Wednesday, June 7 - Library Program for Toddlers

Ready, Set Go! King City Library Program. Each week we will get ready, get set, and go on a new adventure to a new place! Includes an imagination station, crafts, costume box and parachute play. Take a hike on the King City Trails. One of King City's best kept secrets! The King City Trails stretch for over 4 km's where users can enjoy a wide range of activities including, running, walking, cycling and bird watching. Click here for more information on the trials and to view a trail map.

Visit the Trisan Centre (25 Dillane Drive, Schomberg) to participate in our Community Playgroup from 10:00am-12:00pm. This is a place for parents, caregivers and children to meet, find support and have fun in a relaxed, informal setting. No pre-registration is required. This is a parent/caregiver participation class. In recognition of June is Parks and Recreation Month this class will be delivered free of charge! Saturday, June 17 - Invasive Species Walk and Pull at Cold Creek

The Township in partnership with the Toronto Regional Conservation Authority would like to invite you to "Stop the Spread – Invasive Species Walk and Pull" (10:00am-12:00pm). In this workshop attendees will learn how to identify invasive species and help to remove garlic mustard from several locations within Cold Creek Conservation Area (14125 11th Concession, Nobleton). ​Wednesday, June 21 - Nobleton Arena Snoezelen Room

A Snoezelen Room is a multisensory environment used as a form of therapy for individuals with specials need. This summer a Snoezelen Room will be constructed at the Nobleton Arena (15 Old King Road, Nobleton) to better support our summer camper's with special needs. The creation of the Snoezelen Room is an exciting opportunity for the Township of King to continue to grow in its accessibility practices. Interested in seeing the space yourself? Thursday, June 22 - King City Arena Carpet Bowling for Seniors

Every Thursday the King City Seniors host an afternoon of Carpet Bowling from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the King City Arena (25 Doctors Lane, King City). All seniors are invited to attend. ​Friday, June 23 - Friday Fun Club​

Need a night away from the kids? Leave them with us at the Trisan Centre from 5:30pm-9:30pm for a Friday evening full of fun! Kids will have a pizza party, play games and finish the night off with a movie. Be sure to register early to avoid disappointment! Come visit Cold Creek (14125 11th Concession, Nobleton) for the day and hike one of the many scenic and unique ecological trails that Cold Creek has to offer. Wednesday, June 28 - Hike the Oak Ridges Trail

The Oak Ridges Moraine stretches for over 160 kilometres across the most populated area of Ontario. It is the source of 65 major streams or rivers and provides clean, safe drinking water to over a quarter of a million people living on the Moraine. The Moraine forest, wetlands and open meadow are vital in maintaining a healthy ecosystem for Toronto and the GTA. It also provides beautiful space for recreational use. ​Friday, June 30 - Trisan Centre Youth Shinny

Free Youth Shinny at the Trisan Centre (5:00pm-5:50pm). Youth Shinny is open to youth aged 13-17 who wish to improve their hockey skills and get some extra ice time. Pick-up games are planned by those in attendance and goalies play for free. All players must wear helmets and gloves; full equipment is highly recommended. Saturday, July 1 – Canada 150 Event in Kettleby

The grand tradition of Canada's celebration at Tyrwhitt Park in Kettleby continues from 4:00pm-Dusk. Presented by the Kettleby Village Association in partnership with the Township of King. Bring the family and join us for old-fashioned fun and games for kids of all ages, including stage entertainment, delicious foods and Fireworks to complete the day.
