Calling all youth in grades 6-8!!

The Youth Video Dance will take place at the Nobleton Arena and are supervised by staff from the Township's Parks, Recreation & Culture Department and the York Regional Police. 

Tickets are $10 at the door.

Maple Syrupfest @ Cold Creek Conservation

Start your day off right with a delicious Pancake Breakfast and learn all about Maple Syrup and the rich history that brought us this sweet treat. Drop in for the sweet taste of Maple Syrup and take part in a variety of exciting activities for all ages.

Earth Hour 

​​Saturday, March 24, 2018 8:30-9:30pm​

  • ​​​Candle Lite Dinner - 8:30-9:30pm, Do your part this Earth Hour and switch off your lights! Come out and enjoy a dinner by candle light at one of the local participating restaurants to support King Township's Earth Hour initiatives.
  • Earth Hour Lantern Hike - 7:00pm, Switch off your lights and come out and join us for a beautiful evening hike exploring the Cold Creek Trails. Come out and create a lantern to help guide you on our night hike. Please be sure to wear appropriate​ clothing and footwear, hikes will take place on wooded trails. 
  • Lantern Walk & Bonfire - 8:30-9:30pm, Come out for Earth Hour and make a lantern. Bring a glass jar you can decorate and repurpose into a lantern. Lantern making will be followed by a bonfire with hot chocolate at the Dufferin Marsh. ​

Indoor Community Yard Sale @ Trisan Centre (Schomberg)

Saturday May 6, 2017 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

It's time to do some spring cleaning and turn that clutter into cash. The Township of King invites you to join us for the annual Community Indoor Yard Sale. Participants have the option to donate any unsold items to Goodwill onsite upon the event's completion.

Tables can be purchased for $20/table or two ta​​ble​s for $35.

King Celebrates Canada 150 in Kettleby
