The Youth Video Dance will take place at the Nobleton Arena and are supervised by staff from the Township's Parks, Recreation & Culture Department and the York Regional Police.  

Tickets are $10 at the door.

Family Day Winterfest

Monday February 18, 2019

Enjoy your Family Day throughout the Township while participating in exciting activities including; the annual learn to curl at the Trisan Centre in Schomberg. Free snowshoe and cross country ski rentals at Cold Creek Conservation Area from 8:30am - 4:30pm. And free family skates at the Nobleton and King City Arenas!

Discover curling, practice or play a game! Choose a session that best suits your schedule:

Basic equipment (brooms, grippers & sliders) and coaching, if needed, are included in the above fee. Clean footwear is a must! Children must be 7 years of age or older. Children under 12 years must bring & wear a helmet. All children must be accompanied on the ice by an adult/guardian/caregiver.

Maple Syrupfest @ Cold Creek Conservation

Saturday March 9, 2019 10am-2pm

Start your day off right with a delicious Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Rotary Club. Learn all about Maple Syrup and the rich history that brought us this sweet treat. Drop in for the sweet taste of Maple Syrup and take part in a variety of exciting activities for all ages.

Earth Hour

Indoor Community Yard Sale @ Trisan Centre (Schomberg)

It's time to do some spring cleaning and turn that clutter into cash. The Township of King invites you to join us for the annual Community Indoor Yard Sale. Participants have the option to donate any unsold items to Goodwill onsite upon the event's completion.

To Mom With Love, High Tea & Concert

"To Mom with Love" a high tea and concert happening at The King Heritage and Cultural Centre at 1pm. King Township has partnered with The Diva in rough, Catherine Hughes, to bring you this event.

Guests can expect to dine on delicate sandwiches and desserts while sipping tea. Hughes will bring you a tailor made show of approximately 45 minutes to an hour. She will be accompanied by Donald Guinn on piano.

Come celebrate Victoria Day in Nobleton! Start your day watching the annual Victoria Day Parade (leaving from the Nobleton Library at 11am). Make your way to the Nobleton Arena for the famous Victoria Day Fair which includes vendors, food, entertainment and a midway. Finish off the day watching the greatest Victoria Day fireworks display in Ontario.

King City Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival @ Memorial Park (King City)

King Celebrates Canada Day in Kettleby

In celebration of the holiday season join us for Trees & Treats. Featuring the opening of the Trees of Giving Display in support of Hope House Community Hospice.

This all ages event will include cookies with Santa, photos with Santa sponsored by Desjardins Insurance King City, children's crafts, and a holiday lighting display.
