ShopKing Resident Survey Give Insights into Residents
In November 2015, King Township Office of Economic Development conducted a Village Revitalization Forum, where key stakeholders from King City, Nobleton and Schomberg were consulted about their villages. One of the outcomes of the Forum was the identification of an opportunity to better understand the needs of King Township residents for goods and services.
As a result, in 2016 King Township launched a Resident Survey which identified shopping and service needs and preferences about where to shop.
To encourage participation, weekly prizes were awarded, with a Grand Prize of a $500 gift card from the King Grocery store of the winner's choice. The survey was completed by 523 residents.
