Construction and installation of a new splash pad at Salamander Park is underway!
In April, King City residents living in the immediate neighbourhood surrounding Salamander Park were invited to participate in a one-question survey to help determine the best new amenity to add to the park. Three options were available: a splash pad, a play structure or a ball hockey rink. 57% of survey respondents said the splash pad was their most preferred addition.
Expected completion is end of August 2024. The splash pad will open for the remainder of the season, pending timing of completion.
