Agriculture on the Holland Marsh is estimated to have an annual economic impact of $1 billion.
Areas outside of the marsh, known as Highland Farming, have cash crops, beef and dairy cattle, chickens, ducks and more.
King Township’s thriving equine community includes riding schools, boarding establishments, race horses, show stables and breeders.
