Are you a youth between the ages of 13 and 18? Need volunteer hours for your high school requirement or looking to land your first part-time job? Deciding on a college or university? Want to find a fun new activity to do outside of school? Attend the Youth Opportunity Fair hosted by King Township’s Mayor’s Youth Action Team (MYAT) in partnership with King Township, on Thursday, Apr. 10 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Zancor Centre, located at 1600 15th Sideroad in King City.
Enjoy free refreshments (while quantities last) and door prizes and meet with over 25 local businesses and community groups specializing in a range of interests, from arts, gardening and robotics to finance and cosmetics. Discuss post-secondary program opportunities with representatives from Seneca Polytechnic and Brock University. Speak one-on-one with King Township staff about aquatic programs and jobs as well as environmental initiatives or meet the crew from King Township Fire and Emergency Services. Also in attendance: representatives from the King Chamber of Commerce, York Regional Police and York Region.

Open turf (all ages) from 12:30 – 3:30p.m.
Open turf (13+) from 4-5:30p.m.

Pickleball from 3:30 - 4:45p.m.
Basketball from 5- 6:30p.m.
Badminton from 6:45 - 8:45 p.m.
The walking is available from 3:30 – 9:00p.m.

Public Swim 1– 3p.m. (youth can attend for free)
