Volunteering with King

Volunteer Application

Apply to become a King Volunteer by following these 3 simple steps:

  1. Sign in or Create an online account through Xplor Recreation.
  2. Submit your application in the Volunteer Applications section.
  3. A designated Community Services staff member will review your application and follow up with further details

 

  • All King volunteers are required to take AODA training and must upload a copy of their certificate to their Xplor Recreation client profile in the document section. Free AODA training can be found at Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
  • Applicants must be 14 years of age and will be required to complete a questionnaire/agreement form upon applying.
  • Please understand that your application is pending Coordinator approval. After coordinator approval and completion of AODA, volunteers will have the chance to sign up for current volunteer opportunities.
