Our suppression team consists of 150 volunteer firefighters, working out of three stations.
Firehouses
Firehouse 34, situated in the heart of the Village of King City, is located at 2045 King Road. This fire station is equipped with five frontline pieces of apparatus, ready to respond to emergencies and serve the community.
Engine 341, Tanker 344, Tanker 345, Ladder 346, and Rescue 349. As well, this station houses an interactive Education Trailer for Public Education Events.
Firehouse 34 serves as headquarters for our Fire Department's Administrative Team. In addition to housing frontline apparatus, it features a range of facilities to support the department's operations. These include training room, offices for administrative staff, and a fitness facility specifically designed for firefighters. These amenities contribute to the overall efficiency and preparedness of our firefighting personnel.
Firehouse 34 has a compliment of professionally trained volunteer firefighters who proudly protect the Village of King City as well as the remainder of the Township 24/7/365 days a year.
Firehouse 36, conveniently located in the industrial park of Schomberg, is situated right beside the Trisan Centre. You can find this fire station at 91 Proctor Road. With its strategic location, Firehouse 36 houses six frontline pieces of apparatus, enabling a strong and efficient emergency response in the area.
Engine 361, Tanker 364, Tanker 365, Ladder 366, Rescue 369, and Command 30. As well, the station houses our fire department training facility which includes a two storey training house and training props.
Firehouse 36 plays a crucial role in providing fire protection services for the southern portion of New Tecumseth and Bradford West Gwillimbury. The station is equipped with essential facilities to support the training and operations of the firefighters. These include an extensive training room and offices for administrative purposes. Station 36 features a dedicated compound designed for firefighter fitness, ensuring the physical well-being and readiness of the firefighting personnel.
Firehouse 36 has a current compliment of 52 paid-on-call volunteer firefighters who proudly protect the Village of Schomberg as well as the remainder of the Township 24/7/365 days a year.Firehouse 38 is situated in the heart of the Village of Nobleton, specifically at 5926 King Road. This fire station serves as a crucial hub for emergency response in the area. It is equipped with four frontline pieces of apparatus, ensuring a prompt and effective firefighting capability.
Engine 381, Engine 382, Tanker 384, and a Heavy Rescue 389. As well, the station houses a 4 wheel drive Gator which is used for wildland fires and specialized rescues involving off-road incidents.
This station also accommodates a specialized support trailer, designed to respond to trench rescue incidents and provide support during fire ground incidents.
The station is equipped with an extensive training room/ offices and a fitness facility for firefighters.
Firehouse 38 has a current compliment of 45 paid-on-call volunteer firefighters who proudly protect the Village of Nobleton as well as the remainder of the Township 24/7/365 days a year.

Superior Tanker Shuttle Accreditation
Accredited Superior Tanker Shuttle Service is a recognized equivalency to hydrant protection.
To be accredited, our fire service has committed to maintaining a high standard of organization and practice delivering this service regularly.
Our fire service must be able to show through testing and documentation that we can continuously provide water supply in excess of the minimum required for hydranted municipal-type water supplies.To be recognized for Accredited Superior Tanker Shuttle Service, the system of delivery of water supply must be well-designed and well-documented (traditionally a dry-hydrant or on-site water tank). These systems of delivery must meet all of the requirements specified for Standard Tanker Shuttle Service.
For a residents property to be recognized for fire insurance grading purposes under this Accreditation, the protected property must be located within: Commercial Lines (PFPC) - 5 km of a fire station AND 2.5 km of an approved water supply point Residence (Personal Lines (DPG) - 8 km of a fire station AND 5 km of an approved water supply point.
To be recognized for fire insurance grading purposes, these water-delivery systems (municipal and/or private) must be available and accessible 24 hours per day and 365 days per year.
