King Township Municipal Centre closure and Canada Day fireworks regulations

The King Township Municipal Centre will be closed on Monday, July 1 in observance of Canada Day. ServiceKING will reopen on Tuesday, July 2 at 8:30 a.m.

Essential services, such as fire and emergency response and Bylaw Services, will continue uninterrupted. During the closure, urgent Township matters requiring immediate attention will be handled by the after-hours answering service. For access to Township services and information online during the closure, please visit king.ca.

King Township Bylaw Services will be patrolling over the Canada Day weekend to ensure community safety and prevent the use of private fireworks on public property. Officers will also educate the public on King’s fireworks bylaw, which regulates how, when and where private fireworks can be set off.
