Choose from 10 themed birthday party options at recreation facilities across King
Township of King, Ont. — Parents: are you planning a birthday party for your little one? King Township now offers 10 different themed party packages to ensure your child’s birthday celebration is a special one!
Party packages are available for children ages three and up at various recreation facilities across King, including Cold Creek Conservation Area, the King Township Municipal Centre and the King Heritage & Cultural Centre. Party packages include 1 to 1.5 hours of instructional programming, depending on theme, followed by 1 hour of celebration time for food, cake and presents (not included in the party packages). Additional party time can be booked for an extra cost. Parties vary by location and include the following:
Cold Creek Conservation Area is located at 14125 11th Concession in Nobleton and features over 7km of marked nature trails, a low ropes and high ropes course and a climbing tower.
Climbing Kids Party: Experience the thrill of scaling new heights! Young adventurers can conquer vertical challenges under the guidance of our highly trained facilitators. Climbing kids promises an action-packed birthday celebration with climbing triumphs, aerial adventures, and ground-level challenges. Choose from two of the following activities: climbing wall, high ropes, low ropes or flying squirrel. Recommended for ages 7+.
Disc Golf Party: Dive into the fundamentals of disc golf with guidance on proper throwing techniques, mastering different discs and navigating the course like a pro. This package promises a day filled with excitement, laughter and the joy of mastering this dynamic and accessible sport. Recommended for ages 9+.
Nature Discovery Party: A hike-filled day and outdoor experiences that are sure to spark curiosity in nature. Choose from two of the following activities: a guided nature hike, nature related craft, animal games, Sugar Bush and maple syrup discovery (spring only). Recommended for ages 5+.
Outdoor Adventure: Embark on the ultimate adventure! Get ready for an outdoor extravaganza that will be talked about long after the last arrow is shot and the final map is conquered. Choose from two of the following activities: archery, ultimate survival, nature hike or map masters. Recommended for ages 6+.
Winter Wonderland Party: Delight in snowy enchantment as participants explore the winter landscape through invigorating snowshoeing adventures. Glide gracefully through snow covered trails and immerse yourself in all the beauty and tranquility that a Cold Creek winter has to offer. Choose from two of the following activities: snowshoeing, x-country skiing, winter hike or GPS. Recommended for ages 7+.
King Township Municipal Centre
The King Township Municipal is centrally located at 2585 King Road in King City and features a gymnasium equipped with all the sports equipment an athlete can dream of.
Let’s Play a Sport Party: Challenge your friends to your favourite sports, including soccer, volleyball, pickleball, dodgeball, hockey, basketball, and badminton. Sports equipment provided. Recommended for ages 3+.
Nerf Challenge Party: Take aim on the Nerf battle zone, complete with obstacles and bunkers. Nerf guns and accessories are provided. Recommended for ages 6+.
Playgroup Party: Ride, jump, climb, and slide in the gymnasium using a variety of sports equipment such as climbers, tunnels, and toys. Recommended for ages 1-3.
King Heritage & Cultural Centre
Located at 2920 King Road, King City, the King Heritage & Cultural Centre (KHCC) sits on the highland of the Oak Ridges Moraine. The KHCC is home to the King Township Historical Society, the Township of King’s museum and archival collections, a long-term museum exhibition, and four historic buildings.
All Aboard King Railway Party: Calling all train lovers! Delight in train-themed programming, create a historical craft, and tour the King Heritage & Cultural Centre property, featuring the King Railway Station. Go on a scavenger hunt and play outdoor games (weather dependent). Recommended for ages 5+.
Skating Packages
Looking to book a skating party? You can book at the King City & Nobleton Arena (seasonally, from September to April) or the Trisan Centre all year round. Skating capacity is for up to 50 people and the package includes a four-hour room rental with tables and chairs. This package does require supplementary insurance, for more information email contact facilitybooking@king.ca.
How to book your party
Party package details can be viewed at king.ca/partypackages. To book a party, complete the online party package request form or call 905-833-6557. After you submit your form, Township staff will contact you to confirm the facility availability and get further details for your party. Once the party package is confirmed, a contract and payment information will be emailed to the party organizer. Additional paperwork may be required based on birthday party package selection. Full payment and a signed contract are due immediately upon booking.
