Jordan Cescolini is a lifelong King City resident. The Cescolini family history in King City began over four decades and three generations ago. Jordan’s grandparents moved to King City and planted roots on Burton Grove where they still live today. Jordan’s father—seeing the wonderful community around him— decided to stay and start a family a couple of doors down on Burton Grove.
While growing up in King City, Jordan attended Holy Name Catholic School for his public education. He later attended the University of Western Ontario where he received a degree in Business Management Studies with a specialization in Finance and a minor in Political Science. Upon graduation, Jordan decided to continue in his father’s footsteps and began working in the family door business.
Jordan has always had a passion for community service and decided to run for Council in 2018 on the promise of improving transparency, implementing better traffic calming measures and delivering strong investments in road and recreational infrastructure. Jordan was elected to his first term in 2018 as the youngest Councillor in King Township history (22 years old). Jordan was re-elected to his second term in 2022. He continues to work productively with constituents, community groups, the business community, Township staff and other levels of government to deliver the highest standard of excellence.
Jordan is honoured, privileged and humbled to be the Councillor in Ward 1 and will continue to make meaningful and impactful changes that will have a positive effect on the future for everyone in King.
