Savour prix fixe menus at King Township’s best restaurants from October 26 to November 9
Township of King, Ont. — Foodies: for two delicious weeks, savour exclusive prix fixe lunch and dinner menus at some of King’s best restaurants during the inaugural Taste of King event. The two-week culinary celebration runs from Saturday, Oct. 26 to Saturday, Nov. 9 and spotlights the Township’s culinary diversity, from fine dining to causal bites, at eateries across the villages of King City, Nobleton and Schomberg.
From seafood and steak to pub food favourites, indulge in the best local dishes and seasonal specialties. Restaurants include Route 27 Gastropub & Venue, Historia Cantina, Craft Kitchen & Beer Bar, Port Soiree, Raffaele's Cantina, The Schomberg Pub & Patio, Leonardo's Pizzeria & Smoke House, Misoya Sushi, Locale and more. Participating restaurants and menus continue to be added to this event and are available at king.ca/TasteOfKing. Secure a table in advance by making a reservation online or by calling the restaurant directly.
Taste of King is more than just a celebration of great food—it’s also about supporting the Township’s agricultural roots. Many of the featured menus incorporate fresh, locally sourced ingredients from King’s farms, including those in the renowned Holland Marsh, reinforcing the close connection between King’s vibrant agricultural sector and its dining establishments. The event also encourages visitors to explore King’s unique boutique shops that flourish alongside its restaurants.
Partly funded by The York Region Tourism Fund and Central Counties Tourism, this event expands on the success of Schomberg’s Taste of Main events, put on as part of the Township’s revitalization program to help restaurants recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of Taste of King is to provide economic support to local businesses during the slower seasons—fall and mid-winter—while offering foodies a chance to discover new favourites and revisit beloved spots.
