The weather is heating up and so are the programs at Cold Creek Conservation Area!  Make your summer an epic one by going on a FREE guided hike over 7km of marked nature trails or trying your hands at archery, climbing or disc golf programs. 

Here’s a list of outdoor and environmental education programs with limited spots left. Registration is open at townshipofking.perfectmind.com.

Register your young one in some outdoor fun:

Monkeying Around (ages 7-14): unleash your inner climber on the high ropes and climbing wall. Date: Thursday, July 11 & 18 at 6-7p.m.

Junior Archery Masters (ages 7-14): develop basic archery skills such as proper shooting form, “nocking” an arrow and improving accuracy. Date: Saturday, July 20 & 27 at 10-11a.m.

Learn to Camp (ages 9-15): learn about wilderness safety, fire building, campsite set up and other basic skills necessary to thrive in the great outdoors! Date: Monday, July 29 & August 12, 19, 26 from 6-7p.m.

Don’t let the children have all the fun register for an adult adventure:

Ace Academy (ages 15+): try your hand at the rapidly growing sport of disc golf on the new 18-hole course. Date: Monday, July 8 & 15 at 6:30-7:30p.m.

Evening Climb (ages 18+): get active scaling the climbing walls – all skills welcome! Date: Tuesday, July 23 at 6:30-8p.m.
