The Township of King would like to advise the public that a Royal Canadian Air Force CC-130J Hercules aircraft from CFB Trenton will conduct a flyby over Schomberg at approximately 11:05 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, as part of the Schomberg Remembrance Day Service at the Trisan Centre.
The flyby is to honour Col (Ret’d) Susan F. Beharriell, OMM, CD, who passed away on December 1, 2022.
The aircraft will fly over Schomberg at an altitude no lower than 500 feet above the highest obstacle on their route.
Flybys by Royal Canadian Force Aircraft are carefully planned and closely controlled for public safety, and are dependent upon weather, flying conditions, and operational requirements.
