Marriage License Application Process

  1. Complete the Application: Fill out the marriage license application and bring two pieces of valid government-issued ID to your appointment. We don’t accept photocopies or electronic images. If you’ve had a foreign divorce, contact ServiceOntario for an authorization letter. IDs must be in English or accompanied by a certified translation.

  2. Schedule Your Appointment: After applying, you will be contacted to set up an in-person appointment at the Township Office to provide your documents, sign, and pay for the license.

Please ensure you have a date and location for your ceremony before applying for a marriage license.
