"I am deeply saddened to hear of the tragic loss of a construction worker through an industrial accident in King City. On behalf of King Township, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and coworkers of the victim during this difficult time.
This tragic incident is a stark reminder of the dangers faced by those who work in construction and other related industries that build and maintain communities. We are grateful for the work they do and recognize the significant risks they take.
I understand that the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development is investigating.
