Community members are invited to participate in an in-person Open House and hybrid Statutory Public Planning Meeting regarding the Highway 11 Corridor Study. The Study aims to develop a land use planning framework to guide the future development of this area. To advance the Study’s recommendations, the Township has proposed a draft Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment.

Community members are encouraged to attend the sessions to learn more about the Study's progress and provide feedback on the proposed amendments.

The Highway 11 Corridor is a unique area in the northeast part of the Township, historically known for its commercial and tourism-oriented land uses. As a gateway to King Township, this corridor holds strategic significance due to its connections to neighboring municipalities, including Bradford West Gwillimbury, East Gwillimbury, and Newmarket.
