The Township of King is undertaking an update to the 2020 Transportation Master Plan (TMP). Over the course of the project, we will be engaging with the public and identified stakeholders to provide input on the direction, processes, and outcomes of the TMP. One of the main goals of the TMP is to continue to support a growing population and economy and promote a variety of travel modes.
At this introductory Public Information Centre (PIC), we welcome anyone to attend and learn about the Transportation Master Plan project. At this meeting, we will:
•Provide an overview of the TMP study process;
•Seek input on challenges and opportunities with the existing transportation network, including active transportation, transit, and roads;
•Seek feedback on the working Vision and Goals; and
•Identify next steps and opportunities for engagement.
Time and Location
The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024. The Public Information Centre will take place at the Municipal Centre in the Council Chambers (2585 King Rd, King City).
This will be a “Drop-In” style session, with no formal presentations. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions of the project team and provide feedback at their own pace.
