Next King Climate Resilient Agriculture Workshop takes place on March 27
Building on the success of the first King Climate Resilient Agriculture Workshop, the second workshop is scheduled for Thursday, Mar. 27, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Schomberg Community Hall.
Key highlights of the workshop include:
- Expert presentations: Learn from Brandon Hebor of Boreal Farms and Antonio Gomes, a regenerative and innovative farmer, who will share their expertise and experiences.
- Grant and funding opportunities: Discover various grant and funding opportunities available to support sustainable farming practices.
- Case stories and demonstrations: Gain valuable insights through case stories and practical demonstrations that showcase effective techniques for resilient agriculture.
This event is free of charge, but space is limited. Almost 30 participants attended the first workshop—which focused on cover crops—on February 21. Interested participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible at king.ca/resilientAG to secure their spot.
