The Township of King Parks & Forestry Division provides a wide range of Township services that maintain, beautify, protect and enhance both the existing infrastructure of King and its future growth plan! Some of our services include...
- Contributing to landscaping design and construction for new parks, infrastructure improvements, and tree plantings.
- Maintaining over 222 acres of parkland and more than 506 acres of passive open space.
- Managing a Township-wide street beautification program.
- Collecting garbage in parks, trails, and open spaces.
- Conducting winter snow removal at Township facilities.
- Running a Horticultural Program, including annual displays planted throughout community cores.
- Consulting with the community on new and upcoming parks projects.
