Come on out for a fun and casual workshop to explore what goes into a compelling story while developing writing and speaking skills. This will be accomplished through presenting personal experiences, global issues, and dramatic scenes.

The goal will be: sharing personal tales and reflections from the funny, emotional, or downright absurd; discovering how to turn your everyday experiences and concerns into engaging stories; learning about storytelling tips and tricks by looking at your favourite narrators; and collaborating with others through games to gain new ideas and to enhance your own.

Participants in this workshop are invited to a showcase where they can demonstrate the skills they've learned to family and friends. This will take place on Saturday, October 19th.

This program is for children in grades 6-10, please register at the library and is being offered by Audrey Jiang a student volunteer from Country Day School.
