King’s ice skaters and hockey players can soon hit the ice at the Dr. William Laceby Nobleton Arena, which will officially re-open to the public on Monday, Oct. 23 following a closure required to replace the ice rink chiller.
Free 'welcome back' recreational skates for the public will take place on Saturday, Oct. 21 and Sunday, Oct. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. Capacity restrictions apply.
As the winter season approaches, King residents can enjoy Canada’s favourite pastime during recreational skating and shinny hockey times available at the Nobleton Arena, as well as the King City Arena and the Trisan Centre in Schomberg. Drop-in programming options are available for all ages and abilities.
