The Township has announced a temporary closure of the 18th Sideroad between Highway 27 and the 10th Concession starting Monday, July 29, at 7 a.m. The closure is necessary to replace a failing cross culvert that poses a safety risk due to its deterioration.
The repair work is scheduled to take place from Monday, July 29, at 7 a.m. and is expected to be completed by Friday, August 2, at 7 p.m. The road is anticipated to reopen shortly after the repairs are finished. However, the timeline is subject to change due to the emergency nature of the work and potential unforeseen circumstances.
Access to properties along the affected section of the 18th Sideroad will be maintained for local residents and property owners. To minimize disruption and ensure a smooth flow of traffic, drivers are advised to use alternative routes, including the 17th Sideroad or Lloydtown Aurora Rd/19th Sideroad, to bypass the construction area.
Further updates will be provided as the work progresses.
