Take Notice that the Township of King has received a complete application for a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, in accordance with Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13, as amended, concerning a property located on the northwest corner of Dufferin Street and Graham Sideroad, municipally known as 1600 Graham Sideroad, in the Township of King.  

The Planning Division has commenced processing the application. A Council Public Planning Meeting will be scheduled and held at a later date, with formal notice being provided pursuant to the statutory requirements of the Planning Act.

If you have received this notice as an owner of a property that contains seven (7) or more residential units, please post this notice in a visible location to all residents of the land.

Proposed Changes

The applicant has submitted a Zoning By-law Amendment to rezone the property to a site specific zone (AS-XX) to permit an accessory building on the subject property with a gross floor area of 1,137 square metres (12,234 square feet) to be used for a micro-distillery, on-farm shop and café, and office associated with Riga Farms.  The proposed works are further subject to approval through a Site Plan Development Application.
