Take Notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of King intends to consider amending a by-law under Section 36 of the Planning Act to remove the Holding (H) Symbol for the lands described below. The purpose of this notice is to inform you of this intent and to invite you to hear Council’s decision on the matter.

The proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law submitted by Fandor Homes (Via Moto) Inc. through the submission of application concerns Phase 3A of the Via Moto subdivision which is to include 23 single detached residential lots and 4 townhouse blocks (consisting of a total of 18 townhouse units). The lands are located north of King Road, west of Highway 27 in the Village of Nobleton.
The subject property is currently zoned Residential – Single Detached – Exception 27 (R1-27), Residential – Single Detached – Exception 28 (R1-28), Residential – Single Detached – Exception 29 (R1-29), Residential – Single Detached – Exception 30 (R1-30), Residential Townhouse – Exception 7 (R3-7), Open Space (O), Environmental Protection (EP). Phase 3A concerns part of the property that is zoned R1-27, R1-29, R1-30, and R3-7 and are subject to Holding (H) provisions. The Holding (H) provisions require that servicing allocation, execution of the Subdivision Agreement, Record of Site Conditions, and other similar matters be addressed before the Holding (H) symbol is lifted. The removal of the Holding (H) symbol will permit the construction of the dwelling units within Phase 3A of the Via Moto subdivision.
