Starting today, Kingsley is available on the Township’s website at king.ca to enhance your web-browsing experience. Located at the bottom right corner of every webpage, simply click the launcher icon and start a conversation as if you're chatting with a friend.
Kingsley is powered by generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and works by training on a large amount of data, such as text and webpages, to learn patterns and relationships within the data to generate responses.
The perks of interacting with Kingsley:

- interactive features, such as real-time weather updates
- reduced wait times
While Kingsley has been trained to respond to a wide array of questions, queries that cannot be resolved can be escalated to ServiceKING via email (which Kingsley can help you with if asked). When a human connection is preferred, ServiceKING associates remain available during regular hours of operation via phone at 905-833-5321 and email at serviceking@king.ca.
King Township is one of the first municipalities in Ontario to adopt this technology to digitally empower our community. Our Virtual Assistant is a work in progress, and users are encouraged to rate their experience with Kingsley after each interaction during this pilot phase. Township staff will consider all feedback and work to adjust the user-experience accordingly, where possible.
The launch of Kingsley supports the Township's new Digital Transformation Framework, a roadmap to leveraging technology and data to drive innovation, streamline processes, increase productivity, and elevate service delivery and the citizen experience.
